Industrial Biotechnology (IB), Synthetic Biology and Structural Biology

There are excellent opportunities for collaborations between partners in IB, synthetic biology and

structural biology, underpinning new developments including sustainable consumer products,

innovative research into climate change and the manufacture of high value chemicals. Students

working in this theme will be trained in state-of-the-art facilities, and will in many cases, have exposure

to high societal or economic impact projects with industry partners.
